J.B. Davis

West End Light creates handcrafted lamps and shades in a small waterfront community in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Each lamp and shade is unique and made from beautiful natural materials from around the world.

Designer J.B. Davis carefully crafts each shade by hand using enduring, high-quality mineral mica for shimmering, glowing results.

Featured in the Fall 2007 edition of Arts and Crafts Homes is Learned Ginkgo, a collaborative piece between J.B. and Benicia glass artist David Lindsay.

West End Light lamps begin with vintage or art objects as well as special order choices including hand-hammered copper from Mexico's finest craftsmen and art glass from California artists.

Attention to detail pushes West End Light creations from aesthetic function to sublime pleasure by adding natural, dried leaves, beaded finials, hand-dyed fabric trim and cording finishes as well as oxidized brass hardware and silk-wrapped cords.
