Javier Mulio was born on December 24, 1957 in Alcoy, Alicante, Spain. He attended the school of Mila Gomez from 1973 to 1976 and recieved a Fourth Degree Certificate. He then went to attend college at Virgen De Los Lirios, Alcoy, Alicante from 1962 to 1971.

Javier Mulio began to paint at the age of fourteen. At the age of eighteen he began his formal training in art. Due to a number of artists in his home city, and the special relationship he had with some of them, Javier was inspired to begin painting. During his education and training he studied under the Spanish artist and teacher Mila Gomez.

Javier began painting professionally after he completed his school training in 1978. Since this time he has exhibited in galleries, including Galeria Sanchez,Granada, Spain in 1982. Galeria Aguando, Logrono, Spain in 1995 and Galerie Soria, Chateauroux, France in 1996.

The works of Javier Mulio are in private collection throughout Japan, Saudi Arabia, Jakarta Babrain, Holland and the United States. A list of Javier collectors includes a Saudi Arabian Prince, along with important aristocrats and business people throughout the world. The artist describes his style as realism and his favored subject is still life.

Javier is married with one child.
