Last Stop on Beaver Creek, Don MaulDon Maul"Last Stop on Beaver Creek"
Walnut ~ 22 x 23 x 2 The natural void in the wood struck me from the beginning as an integral and important part of the final work and it gives dramatic symbolism to the piece. It is reminiscent of the untimely death of Crazy Horse who was stabbed through the abdomen by a soldier's bayonet and killed in Camp Robinson, NE on September 5, 1877. His parents took his body to secretly bury Crazy Horse in the Beaver Valley, which was his "Last Stop on Beaver Creek".Inquire About This ItemGo To Artist's Page - Sold
