Artist Bio:
Angie Haskell wears many hats: jewelry designer, award-winning author and visual artist. Her creative works are owned by celebrities, country music artists and anyone who appreciates bold contemporary work. Growing up in Kentucky and then moving to Santa Fe, Angie feels the most free to express herself in the desert southwest. The landscape and multi-cultural aspects of New Mexico inspire both Angie and her collectors to find great beauty in the simplest of forms.
Her travels throughout Africa, Europe and Asia continue to influence the color in her work, whether painting landscapes or bold pieces of architecture. Angie’s mixed media series are her most personal, using daring creativity to provoke discussion and introspection. Represented in Jackson Hole, Tucson and Santa Fe, Angie has participated in esteemed shows such as the Mountain Oyster Club Show and Miniatures by the Lake, as well as art walks with her husband, contemporary artist, William Haskell. They enjoy sharing in the creative process and consider it a gift to make a living in a profession they love.
