Artist Bio:

Babette Reynolds is a jewelry artist and painter.  In her new line of jewelry, Babette continues to explore texture and patina, creating pieces from vintage jewelry elements with semi-precious stones and crystal.  Babette has also introduced sari silk into some of the works, bringing in vibrant color and added texture.

Babette is also introducing her paintings for the first time with a series of oil and coldwax medium works inspired by the ancient buildings and natural beauty she experienced during her May 2019 artist retreat in Greece.  While on the island of Skopelos, Greece, Babette studied with Rebecca Crowell and Jerry McLaughlin.  Babette’s fascination with texture, patina and color are found in these pieces, as in her jewelry.
